Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of its new Coastal Collection, featuring five spectacular beachfront properties across the Asia-Pacific region. The announcement marks the brand's most significant regional expansion in a decade.
The new properties include locations in Phuket, Bali, Boracay, Langkawi, and Nha Trang. Each resort has been designed to celebrate local culture while maintaining Waldorf Astoria's signature luxury standards.
'The Coastal Collection represents our vision for the future of beach resort luxury,' said John Vanderslice, Global Head of Waldorf Astoria. 'These properties combine stunning natural settings with world-class service and amenities.'
All five resorts are scheduled to open between 2026 and 2028, creating approximately 2,000 new jobs in the region. The collection will offer a total of 800 rooms and suites across all properties.
