St. Regis Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of its Safari Lodge Collection, featuring three luxury properties in Kenya and Tanzania. The collection represents St. Regis's expansion into adventure luxury and will open between 2027 and 2028.
The lodges will be located in the Masai Mara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Each property will feature 20-30 tented suites with private decks, plunge pools, and outdoor showers, all serviced by St. Regis's signature butler program.
'African safari represents the pinnacle of luxury adventure travel,' said George Fleck, Vice President of St. Regis & Luxury Brands. 'Our Safari Collection will deliver the rituals and service excellence St. Regis is known for in these extraordinary wilderness settings.'
The lodges will offer twice-daily game drives, walking safaris, hot air balloon excursions, and cultural experiences with local communities. Each property will be designed with minimal environmental impact and include comprehensive conservation programs. Rates are expected to start at $2,500 per night, all-inclusive.
