The inaugural Global Restaurant Investment Forum (GRIF) concluded successfully in Singapore, attracting 800 restaurant investors, operators, and franchisors. The two-day event focused on F&B investment opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region.
GRIF featured presentations from major restaurant groups, private equity firms, and franchise operators. Panel discussions covered topics including ghost kitchens, delivery-first concepts, and automation in food service. Multiple investment deals were announced during the event.
'Asia-Pacific represents the world's most dynamic F&B market,' said Kevin Tan, GRIF Founder. 'This forum provides a platform for connecting capital with compelling restaurant concepts.'
Attendees represented 35 countries with particularly strong participation from Singapore, Australia, and Hong Kong. The event included a restaurant technology showcase featuring point-of-sale systems, kitchen automation, and delivery platforms. GRIF 2026 is scheduled for September in Bangkok.
