Chef Takeshi Yamamoto has opened Kōrin, a groundbreaking 300-seat fine dining restaurant in Osaka that challenges traditional notions of haute cuisine scale. The venue received two Michelin stars within months of opening, becoming the world's largest starred restaurant.

Kōrin features an open kitchen with 40 chefs working in synchronized precision, preparing intricate multi-course kaiseki menus. The restaurant occupies three floors and includes private dining rooms, a sushi counter, and a sake bar with 500+ selections.

'Fine dining doesn't have to be exclusive to be excellent,' said Chef Yamamoto. 'We're democratizing haute cuisine while maintaining uncompromising standards.'

The restaurant uses cutting-edge kitchen technology and meticulous systems to deliver consistent quality at scale. The 12-course tasting menu is priced at $280, significantly less than comparable Michelin-starred experiences. Kōrin has already become Osaka's most sought-after reservation, with three-month waitlists.
