To celebrate, Grupo Lomas hosted an anniversary event with everything guests expect from Aqua Nick™ Riviera Maya: live music, a poolside DJ, colorful parades, memorable character appearances, and the park’s signature Anniversary Super Sliming, where getting covered in bright green slime is all part of the fun.
The celebration marked five successful years and also honored the thousands of families who return to the park again and again, making it part of their vacation traditions.
Since opening on August 2, 2021, Aqua Nick™ Riviera Maya has become the largest Nickelodeon™-themed water park in Latin America and remains the only one like it in Mexico. Inspired by Nickelodeon™’s most beloved characters and stories, the park turns familiar TV worlds into interactive adventures focused on imagination.
Covering nearly six acres (2.42 hectares), visitors can try 21 water slides, climb the 59-foot Soak Summit Tower, drift along the Lazy River, explore the Adventure River, splash at Bikini Bottom Beach, visit PAW Patrol Adventure Bay, and enjoy themed dining. All of this is meant to help families spend the day together.
