The Boutique & Lifestyle Lodging Association's annual New York conference has expanded to two days for 2026 responding to record attendance and growing interest in the independent hotel sector. The 2025 event attracted 2,200 attendees, up 35% year-over-year.
The conference brings together independent hotel owners, boutique brand operators, designers, and investors. Sessions cover topics including design trends, technology for small properties, and independent hotel distribution strategies.
'The boutique and lifestyle sector is experiencing unprecedented growth,' said Vail Horton, BLLA CEO. 'Our conference has become the industry's premier gathering for this dynamic segment.'
The 2026 event will feature expanded design showcase, more educational sessions, and additional networking events. Major speakers include renowned hotel designers, successful independent operators, and hospitality investors. Early registration has already exceeded the total 2025 attendance.
